“ Delicious, modern interpretations of traditional Basque dishes, served by a warm and knowledgeable staff. We were excited to see this new restaurant on the block where we’ve stayed before, and it did not disappoint. Pinxtos are delicious, wine selections affordable and varied, and table dining delivers thoughtful, locally sourced and seasonal dishes great for sharing. Our servers generously spoke English since our Spanish is not great. A lovely evening! ”
“ Good tapas and pintos. Can get a little bit busy as usual but other than that great food and good vibes. A bit more expensive that usual pintos, I think due to the restaurant but was worth it. ”
“ High quality food for normal prices, Wide variety of wines. More locals than tourists. Staff working hard, may be little bit to hard. (a bit to serious). ”
“ Wonderful mix of modern and traditional cuisine, provided with high quality product. I really enjoyed the octopus, the carrillera and the torrija as a dessert. Definitely worthy! ”
“ As I was solo, there was an aged old cow tenderloin off menu option offered to me served with a slice of foie gra and gratin potato chunks. The grilled vegetables assortment had some mushrooms through it - mind blowing from having been grilled over fire and the steak lean, tender and flavourful! The foie was a nice touch! Lastly the torrija ... calling that pillowy perfection a french toast does not do it justice. It is buttery well caramelised crust with a velvety custardy slight chew on the inside... every heavenly bite was savoured! The ice cream was more as a flavour change option... I think coffee or vanilla ice cream would've paired better, but that's just nitpicking on perfection. This place has standards and I will be returning to try more options! ”
